This is what I used to do:
This is a real-time updated list of links that I'm currently surfing in my web browser, found interesting, and thought they might be of interest to other people.
It works using a server-side app, written in PHP running on a Linux web server, a client-side app written in VDS (using vdsinet.dll) running on a Windows XP laptop. The client-side app posts any links I deem worthy to my site, and the server-side app formats, stores and displays them.
I now use a JavaScript bookmarklet from within Opera, that sends all the necessary information with great ease (and higher portability, I can now adapt this to a simple web service to use anywhere).
I also rewrote the PHP script link history server to be more stream lined, as the new bookmarklet gave it all the information it required removing the need for the script to grab the pages title if a title wasn't provided from my end.
View just this list without the above description.
This list is also available as a LinkLog feed XML.
